Killer animatronics are back in Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location, and surviving every night is a real challenge. Nerves of steel aren’t enough to make it through all five nights — some of us need a little bit more. Even if you’re familiar with the series, the tension (and all those jumpscares) make it pretty difficult to complete. If you’re tired of seeing the “Game Over” screen and want to unlock all those extra little modes, stars, and keycards, then just follow the simple cheat guide below.
This isn’t about cheat ‘codes’ — but this is totally a cheat. All you have to do is alter the FNaF: Sister Location save file in the installation folder. Don’t worry, it’s really easy to do, and changing all the content won’t lock you out of any part of the game. Even if you want to earn everything yourself, you can still do that after using this cheat method.
Unlock Everything Cheats Guide
Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location tracks several ‘completion’ states — Stars earned, keycard found, nights survived, and two different versions of completion. Earning the secret ending is always difficult, so if you want to do things the easy way, here’s how to cheat and ‘finish’ the game.
To get started, let’s find the game data file you’ll need to open:
- Open “Run” — Windows Key+R / Start Menu -> Go to “Run…”
- Type “%appdata%” in the field and press enter.
- This takes you to the Roaming Folder.
- Search for “MMFApplications” — open this folder.
- Find the SL file — this is the save file where completion is recorded.
Open the SL file with Notepad or any text editor that does not automatically format — do not use WORD for instance.
Now we can begin changing things. Look for these entries:

- intro=1
- current=0
- beat1=0
- keycard=0
- beat2=0
- beat3=0
By changing the numbers here, you’ll unlock different effects.
Cheats – How to Unlock Stars, Keycards, and More
Change the codes below to unlock different levels of completion. Here’s what each code will do for you.
- intro=0
- Change his code to “intro=0” to skip the intro.
- current=1-5
- Change his code to any number, 1-5, to change which night you’ve completed.
- beat1=1
- Set this code to “beat1=1” to unlock the 1st Star — this counts as one complete cycle. This unlocks the Extras menu.
- keycard=1
- Set this code to “keycard=1” to unlock the Keycard and the 2nd Star. The keycard will open the door to the locked Private Room on Night 5.
- beat3=1
- The final important code, set to “beat3=1” unlocks the 3rd Star. This will also unlock Butter in the Extras menu.
If you want to unlock everything, here’s what the codes should look like:
- current=5
- beat1=1
- keycard=1
- beat3=1
After altering the # values, save the file and exit before attempting to play. And that’s all you need to do! Now you’ll unlock the Extras Menu, be able to enter the Private Room on Night 5, and get Butters — all without getting a heart attack.
