The Amazing Stan Lee Playable in The Amazing Spider-Man

June 26, 2012 by Mat Growcott

"Ain’t NOTHING like swinging!"

Stan Lee is going to be a playable character in the Amazing Spider-Man game. I know, I know, I'll wait for a moment while you go ahead and renew your pre-orders after that slightly disappointing Move trailer. It won't just be a playable skin either, but with newly recorded lines as well. Could this be Stan Lee's best appearance in a Spider-Man game yet? Based on the Twitter line in the trailer above, I'm going to say yes.

You can also watch a second video below, a kind of making-of, extended trailer for the feature, which also has Bruce Campbell. All of a sudden, I'm very interested in this game and, frankly, I think you should be as well. Going to the lengths they have for a simple cameo is exciting enough to make me think that they've put plenty of time and effort into other parts of the game.

Except, of course, those Move features.
