GTA Online: Bikers Finally Gets Release Date

September 27, 2016 by Nick Monroe

October 4th is when the chaos unleashes.

This past week, Rockstar Games yanked everyone’s chains by teasing the GTA Online: Bikers update as being a thing without giving a solid release date for it. What they confirmed at the time was the ability to form an 8 player Motorcycle Club, and assign roles for everyone as they engaged in new co-op and competitive gameplay modes involving new motorcycle vehicles. New properties, weapons, and tattoos were also mentioned as incoming add-ons.

Today they elaborated on the details of that a little bit. Sadly there still isn’t an official trailer or video footage of any kind, so here’s that Grand Theft Auto IV: Lost and the Damned trailer again because it fits the mood.

According to the newest post, GTA Online Bikers is set to release on October 4th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Beyond the promises made in the initial announcement, we also learned that melee attacks while riding bikes would be making a comeback. To climb the ranks of the club, Prospects must earn the President’s respect to get that promotion. When taking on the new Motorcycle Club missions, you can bring prospects along as backup crew.
