Review: JAM Live Music Arcade

June 20, 2012 by Jen Shaffer

Jen has rhythm. It’s no secret.

There are a lot of Rock Band clones out there, but JAM Live Music Arcade takes rhythm games to a new level. If you’ve ever fancied yourself a DJ now is the time to show off your skills. The new music creation title comes from developer Zivix and publishers Reverb and 505 Games.

With 32 tracks to choose from, you’ve got a plethora of songs to cut up, chop into pieces, and see what falls out the bottom. Rhythm games are one of my favorite type of games, so I’m set to crush through this title. Today I take a look at JAM as a whole and decide whether I’ve got a future as a DJ.

You can purchase JAM Live Music Arcade on the Xbox Live Arcade for 800 Microsoft Points ($10 in REAL money) and on the PlayStation Network for $9.99.
