Black Ops: Declassified PS Vita Box Art Outed By Walmart

June 19, 2012 by Alex Co

It seems Walmart has outed Black Ops: Declassified’s box-art and description.

While Sony has announced during their E3 press conference that the PlayStation Vita will get its own Call of Duty game — Black Ops: Declassifed — we're still left in the dark as to what it actually is.

Well, lucky for us that Walmart seems to have outed the game's official description and box-art well before its official announcement.

First the good news, the game's description reveals that this won't be your typical Call of Duty. The game won't have an actual campaign. Instead, it will offer Spec Ops missions that should be perfect for portable gameplay sessions.

Now, for the bad news, the apparent leak doesn't give us one drop of info on the game's multiplayer. Aside from the description revealing that it will be part of the game.

Here's the game's official description and box-art.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified (PS Vita)

Before the future could be won, history had to be written. Exposing that story exclusively on PlayStation Vita, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified explores original fiction in the Call of Duty Black Ops universe with an all-new campaign of Special Ops missions. Optimized for gamers on-the-go, Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified delivers the most intense handheld Call of Duty experience to date, including both Special Ops Story mode and Multiplayer combat tailored for the PS Vita.

Hopefully, we hear more details about Declassifed at this year's Gamescom. Can you imagine if the PS Vita version can somehow do cross-platform play with the PS3 version? That would certainly move a few PS Vitas around, no? Of course, that's more wishful thinking than anything.

What do you want to see in the PlayStation Vita's version of Call of Duty? Are you happy they're sticking with Spec Ops missions instead of an actual campaign for Declassfied?
