The Tokyo Game Show has news for Western related video game releases, believe it or not. One of the latest reveals is that the Berserk video game that’s been on the gaming community radar for a few months now finally has a formal name and release date. Although it was earlier stated the game would release this Autumn, Berserk and the Band of the Hawk is now slated to come out in February 2017. The new video put up by the developers shows you how far things have come along with the project, however.
The Band of the Hawk is a mercenary group at the center focus of the game’s story. The main protagonist, a chap by the name of Guts, sets forth with his companions on a quest to try and eventually own a kingdom. This title is based off the Berserk anime series, and will retell the events of two story arcs. The Golden Age arc plot has The Band of the Hawk leader Griffith meeting Guts for the first time (leading Guts to eventually join the group), and the Falcon of the Millennium Empire arc depicts some of the most intense battles between humans and demons.
