South Park: The Stick of Truth Gets New Trailer & Release Date at E3

June 4, 2012 by Zak Islam

South Park: The Stick of Truth’s E3 trailer has been released, as well as its release date confirmation.

The Obsidian Entertainment-developed South Park RPG, entitled The Stick of Truth, was shown by the cartoon's creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone during Microsoft's E3 presser.

The pair stressed that they wanted the game to deliver an experience that feels like you're within an actual South Park episode, and the trailer exemplified that perfectly. Furthermore, the THQ-published title received a release date of March 5th, 2013. It'll launch on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Parker and Stone were arguably the best guests of the press conference with the hilarious duo making a joke about the SmartGlass technology unveiled by Microsoft earlier in the presser. The developers, too, are confident of the title with Obsidian going as far as saying that South Park: The Stick of Truth will rival Grand Theft Auto in terms of entertainment, but not in visual prowess.
