Fable: The Journey Focuses on More Action for E3 2012

June 4, 2012 by Alex Co

Microsoft has decided to show off Fable: The Journey but it’s more action-oriented now.

Microsoft has decided to show off Lionhead's upcoming Fable spin-off, Fable: The Journey again at this year's E3 — albeit, just in video form now.

It really doesn't show us anything new that we already didn't know. It will involve fireballs, magic and little goblin enemies that you can scorch with said fire powers, but aside from that, it honestly looks underwhelming.

The trailer itself starts with a live-action scene of a man and then he conjures fireballs and the sort before we're treated to gameplay.

The game still needs Kinect to be played and it still looks to be an on-rails affair. If you're interested in conjuring fireballs and throwing them at the screen, you'll be glad to know Microsoft is releasing the game this coming holiday.
