Skyrim: Dawnguard Trailer Reveals Vampires and Vampire Hunters

Bethesda has just published the first ever trailer of its upcoming add-on for Skyrim. Titled Dawnguard, the DLC will be available for download on Xbox Live this summer for 1600 MS Points.

The trailer for Dawnguard reveals the existence of a hidden fortress across the seas, that’s populated by vampire lords with plans to take the Elder Scrolls for themselves. The only thing stopping them is an organization of vampire hunters called the Dawnguard. The player, it seems, has the option to side with either faction.

Also seen in the trailer are the crossbows and other fine weaponry that Bethesda is adding to the game.

Dawnguard will be exclusive to the Xbox 360 during its first few months of release. Like Bethesda’s other DLCs for Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, players on the PC and PS3 versions of the game will eventually (after a few months) be given access.
