If you’re planning on picking up the next big installment to the Gears of War franchise, Gears of War 4, on PC then you’ve been in the dark in terms of the system requirements. Thanks to GameSpot, we now know what the system requirements will be for the three tiers to run the video game.
Microsoft released the minimum, recommended, and lastly the ideal system requirements to run Gears of War 4 on PC. All three of the system requirement tiers will require gamers to be on Windows 10 and have the latest anniversary update installed. Additionally, there’s a rather hefty storage size that is required to install the game, you’ll need 80 GB of free storage space and it’s also suggested for the game to be stored on a SSD.

- GPU: R7 260X / GTX 750 Ti
- VRAM: 8 GB
- RAM: 8 GB

Recommended System Requirements:

- GPU: R9 290X or RX 480 / GTX 970 or GTX 1060
- VRAM: 4 GB

Ideal System Requirements:
- CPU: FX-9590 / i7 4790 @ 4 GHz
- GPU: R9 Fury X / GTX 980 Ti or GTX 1080
- VRAM: 4 GB for AMD / 6 GB+ for Nvidia
- RAM: 16 GB
- HDD: SSD with 80 GB free
