LucasArts are inviting select journalists to an event at which they'll how a previously unannounced game currently in development. EGMNow reveal that they've received invitations to see the new game and have even gone as far as to mention Battlefront 3. More than once, in fact. So while I have every expectation that they're about to announce Force Unleashed 3 (and I'd hardly be disappointed if they did), people are obviously hoping for something a little more, well, classic (Battlefront 3, Jedi Knight or a new Knights of the Old Republic).
LucasArts are definitely working on a set of different games – including a shooter, a game for next-gen and an aerial combat sim – so I can see why people are getting so excited for a LucasArts game that doesn't involve a clone of Darth Vader's apprentice, but perhaps try not to get your hopes up until we actually find out what the game is – we've all been stung before.
