Epic Mickey 2 is in full production which means Warren Spector is halfway done with his franchise if this new tidbit of information is to unfold in the future. Spector says that he has had the ideas for four Epic Mickey games before the first one even came out.
And before the first Epic Mickey I actually had a four-game storyline arc, and I had at least three games worth of the ‘game innovation’ to introduce. So the idea of two-player co-op and songs in the second game was something I knew I wanted to do before I started the first.
Althought Spector did admit that the team didn’t always use his ideas, so there may or may not be an Epic Mickey 3 and 4. I hope that the songs bit won’t be akin to Atlantica in Kingdom Hearts 2. Oh the horror…oh the horror.
