The Xbox One has once again expanded its backwards compatibility catalog to include another game.
Ubisoft’s Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon has been added to the mix today. Microsoft’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb took to Twitter to announce the newest addition. This 80s inspired game originally debuted in 2013 to rave reviews and a great reception.
Blood Dragon weighs in at 2.18 GB. If you already own a digital copy, the game should show up automatically in your library. However, it’s only $15 if you don’t. Trials of the Blood Dragon also came out for Xbox One back in June.
There are now an impressive 200 some games in the Xbox One backwards compatibility lineup. Microsoft, interestingly enough, does not have a set schedule for releasing new titles. They seem to do it whenever they are ready to.
With the cool retro feel of this game, there is no doubt that many players will be excited to delve into the world of this game once again, this time on the Xbox One.
