Here’s a blast from the past, the original 2002 Splinter Cell video game is being released completely for free thanks to Ubisoft. The video game development studio, Ubisoft, is celebrating its 30th-year anniversary, which is certainly not an easy feat to accomplish. To give back towards gamers, the studio is releasing one of their video game titles for free each month until December.
Last month, Ubisoft kicked off their 30th-year anniversary celebration by giving players the chance to download a copy of their Prince of Persia: Sands of Time for free. This title is still currently available for pick up, but you’ll want to hurry and secure your copy before it’s too late.
There will only be one free video game available for download each month and it was just revealed that Ubisoft will be making their original Splinter Cell title their next big highlighted video game for the month of July.
In order to claim your copy, gamers will have to register an Ubisoft Club account then simply download the game through Uplay, it will then be yours forever. You’ll want to make sure to check back each month to see what title Ubisoft will be offering for free next.
