Anarchy Reigns Offers Battle Royale in Multiplayer

April 16, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

Multiplayer comes in three forms in Anarchy Reigns, with up to 16 players.

Platinum Games has put out a video introducing the multiplayer modes of Anarchy Reigns, a multiplayer brawler. The modes include Death Match, Cage Match, and 16-player Battle Royale.

Four players go head to head in Death Match, which sees characters beating the hell out of each other in extreme, Platinum Games fashion throughout a variety of interactive arenas.

In Cage Match, two players go head to head in a fighting game styled arena. There's even a health bar and a power bar at the top.

Finally, in Battle Royale, up to 16 players engage in all out mayhem in a battle for the highest score.

Anarchy Reigns is set for release on July 13 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. It's also known as Max Anarchy in Japan.
