We get a little announcement from ConcernedApe regarding Stardew Valley. It looks like the the 16-bit inspired game is finally coming to consoles sometime in Q4-2016 just in time for the holidays with the help of Chucklefish and Sickhead Games. Stardew Valley is mainly inspired by games like Harvest Moon, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on the Super Nintendo.
The game’s controls will also be redone to work best with controllers. “It’s very important to me that playing Stardew Valley with console controllers is intuitive and effortless. I’ll be the first to admit that the current, rudimentary controller support in the PC version is far from ideal, and it will need to be adjusted prior to the launch.” says the developer in their blog post.
Stardew Valley was released on PC on 26 Feb, 2016 and currently has an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam. It will be released during the holiday season for Xbox One, Wii U and PS4.
