As much as I speak against preorders, I am still for them when it comes to physical collector’s edition copies with tons of goodies. Respawn just announced its offering in two collector’s editions that do not disappoint the lovers of plastic collectible toys. However, there is still a Deluxe Edition being sold for $79.99 and it doesn’t feature any of those physical goodies, but it has the following:
- Exclusive Deluxe Nose Arts for each of your titans
- Exclusive Deluxe Warpaints for each of your titans
- Two Camouflages applicable to every one of your titans, pilots and weapons
- Exclusive Deluxe Callsign
Titanfall 2 Vanguard SRS Collectors Edition (pictured above), fixes the lack of little toys and it will retail at $249.99. It should include the following:
- Dog Tag Flash Drive: This little nifty metallic dog tag hangs on an 18″ ball ring, but inside it hides an 8GB custom flash drive. It combines being a soldier with a bit of nerdism. I like it.
- Pilot SRS Field Journal: This little 3″ x 3.5″ field journal comes in a metallic case and a pen, both carry the Vanguard label.
- Titanfall 2 Vanguard Pilot Helmet Replica: This iconic Titanfall Pilot helmet has been brought to life in this 1:1 full scale replica. Built with mixed material elements, the helmet includes a battery operated blue light-up translucent faceplate, blue status/task light, functional tactical ARC rail system/an adjustable interior head strap and display stand. It should go great next to the other helmet replicas you might own like the one from Halo or Killzone
- Tactical Helmet Accessories: A tactical spotlight and targeting laser sight. These two battery operated helmet accessories are designed to be mounted on the ARC rail system of the helmet. Independently operated, the functional mounted spotlight will light up the night and the simulated laser sight features a super-bright non-projected red LED.
- Squad Morale Patches and Vanguard Shemagh Scarf: Although I’m not the biggest fan of patches, but I have to admit that they do fit the spirit of this collectors edition. This is a male velcro-style patch, so you can stick it on anything that has some velcro such as helmets, backpacks, messenger bags or clothing and it’s fully removable. Also you get the Vanguard Shemagh Scarf, a 42″ x 42″ with a custom designed Titanfall pattern, the perfect fashion accessory for a Titanfall fan.
They also announced the Titanfall 2 – Marauder Corps Collectors Edition (pictured above) which is showing up for preorder on some Australian retailers websites right now. We are not sure if this version will be available in other regions. You can expect the following with the game:
- Titanfall 2 Illuminated Pilot Bust A very highly detailed classic style bust standing at 7″ tall. This would look amazing next to your other collectibles.
- Pilot SRS Field Journal: This little 3″ x 3.5″ field journal comes in a metallic case and a pen, both carry the Vanguard label.
- Exclusive Mini Prints: You’ll get three unique and high quality 5″ x 7″ prints as well.
- Paracord Survival Bracelet: Wait. I think I got one of those in one of my Lootcrates. It’s a small bracelet made out of braided heavy-duty polyester para-cord, the same cord they use for parachutes. The wound cord length is just 8″ and 118″ when fully disassembled and can hold up to 300 pounds. Pretty impressive for a little toy.
So there you have it. You can have your Titanfall 2 game along with some toys to display on your shelves. The game is coming out on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on October 28, although it seems that the PC won’t be getting a physical collector’s edition.
