Looking for some new software to stream gaming content across the internet? Perhaps you’ll want to give XSplit a try especially now with their latest 2.8 update that brings in new major features. Additionally, we’re finding out just how many users are using XSplit as a source when streaming gameplay content.

Thanks to a press release that was sent over, we’re finding out that XSplit, software available to use in streaming and recording gameplay, has released its 2.8 updates. XSplit 2.8 will be noticeably different with updated user interfaces and design upgrades.

Furthermore, XSplit 2.8 will include Unlimited Scenes, YouTube Gaming Chat support, custom URI support, Global Sources, along with a new plugin store where users will have access to a nice range of new plugins and extensions for their particular custom broadcasts.

Also, noteworthy from the press release was the usage figures that was detailed. It seems that there are over 7,000 sign-ups each day with over 200,000 new users joining every month. From the looks of it, it’s becoming apparent that XSplit is certainly taking off and with the latest update, we may see these numbers rise significantly.

Interested in trying XSplit for yourself? You can download the software right from Steam or through the official XSplit website. To get more control with the software, you can upgrade to the two different licenses with the more premium license will cost users $4.17 per month.
