A new video was posted by the development team Harmonix that teases the next Rock Band 4 instrument controller. This comes after a press release was sent out confirming the partnership between Harmonix and Fender has been extended for another decade.
Since the original release of Rock Band, the development team Harmonix had a deal with Fender in order to showcase the company’s amps and instruments throughout the game series. That won’t be changing anytime soon.
While we don’t get to see the full instrument controller unveiled from the YouTube video, we do see some slight glimpses of the next Fender guitar game controller.
Interestingly enough, this is one of the new controllers for Rock Band 4 after Harmonix and Mad Catz ended their partnership. Instead of using Mad Catz, Harmonix will be going through Performance Designed Products to release the new set of Rock Band 4 controllers that will be set to release at some point this fall.
Again, this is just a small snippet of footage for the upcoming Rock Band 4 controller, but we imagine there will be more news and reveals for Rock Band 4 and its lineup of the controller during this year’s E3 event.
Take a look at the Rock Band 4 controller teaser above along with the Rock Band 4 gallery posted down below.
