The Boys of Silence Won’t Like the Sound of you in BioShock: Infinite

March 20, 2012

The Boys of Silence are masked, blind and creepy.

Irrational Games have revealed an interesting new enemy you'll be facing in BioShock: Infinite, The Boys of Silence. Definitely one of those enemies who fall straight into creepyville because that's what masks do – they hide the eyes – the one part of the face that can give clues about someone's feelings or expression.

Ken explains that they will serve a similar purpose to the cameras in the original BioShock, but instead of being static they will be looking for you and paying close attention to the slightest of noises in some levels so the player will have to decide whether to confront these blind creeps or sneak past them. Oh yeah…don't forget they can call for backups too with that eerie scream at the end of the trailer.

BioShock: Infinite releases October 16 on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
