Rockstar may have already pulled the trigger to get GTA 6 reviewed.

Nate The Hate shared this claim on Twitter:
Rockstar Games have begun to distribute review code of Grand Theft Auto 6 to media outlets. Review embargo is November 18th.
Nate has been trying to confirm information on this for some time now. Presumably, game reviewers will have a little over two weeks to review GTA 6 properly, and to publish it in time for the game’s launch.
If Nate’s rumor is correct, Rockstar and Take-Two chose to wait until the very last minute to give consumers a chance to read reviews before buying. This game is guaranteed to break sales records at launch, but poor reviews can deflate that hype and Take-Two’s ability to meet their sales expectations.
Some gamers may argue this is an anti-consumer move, but in theory, gamers who change their mind should have enough time to cancel their pre-orders the day before release. So unless the games media and content creators all delay their reviews at the same time, consumers should still be able to make informed choices to buy it or not.
