Nintendo is definitely leaning on nostalgia for The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time for Switch 2.
Nintendo UK has published a new commercial for the game that’s incredibly reminiscent of the original The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time commercials for the Nintendo 64, all the way back in 1998.
In terms of clips, there is nothing here we have not already seen before. But Nintendo UK did the best they could to recreate the clips found in the original commercials. So this includes that clip of Impa and Zelda running out of the castle and Zelda throwing the ocarina, as Link sees Ganon give chase after them.
We also see Link riding the horse and facing down the Dodongo. Most notably, we get text captions, themselves evoking theatrical title cards to mirror the puppet theatre that the game evokes.
