Well, it didn’t take long to confirm that.

After billbil-kun reported it for Dealabs, Sony and Playground Games has released a new trailer for Forza Horizon 6. The game is releasing on January 26, 2027.
PlayStation players can also participate in Early Access, by pre-ordering the Premium Edition on PlayStation Store. Early Access starts on January 21.
Finally, Playground Games also dropped a teaser for a new expansion that is also launching on January 26, but they haven’t revealed what this expansion is quite yet. They may have planned to prepare content that will encourage PS5 gamers to go online, and even play with XBOX and PC players.
This news comes with an admittedly odd note. We now know that XBOX CEO Asha Sharma is moving to make their games exclusive again. She may have already decided that this will be the last Forza game coming to PlayStation.
But then again, this may also be a test if Sony gamers will like Forza enough to make future ports to PlayStation worthwhile. We’ll see if Playground made a good enough game to overcome the console wars.
