XBOX has once again debunked a report about them, this time a positive one about GTA 6.
The Verge reported that XBOX managed to get an exclusive cloud gaming license for GTA 6. It also suggested that it could be streamed on PC.
However, in a matter of hours, XBOX CSO Matthew Ball came onto social media to say this:
While the excitement for GTAVI and XBOX is great to see, it has also led to some misreporting.
We are looking forward to launching GTAVI on XBOX November 19, though the game will not be streaming exclusively or to PC.
If Take-Two did not allow cloud gaming on PC that means PlayStation gamers can’t use cloud gaming at all. However, it’s possible that Rockstar gave the go ahead to allow streaming GTA 6 on Xbox One, assuming you have purchased the game for Xbox Series X|S.
We see that XBOX is vigilant in checking for misinformation, but hopefully they can share more clarity on this point soon.
