Hideo Kojima has revealed how he got to meet Bill Skarsgård for PHYSINT in the latest episode of KOJI10.

While we know Kojima has made connections through friendships with big celebrities like Norman Reedus and Guillermo del Toro, this one is a little out of left field. It turned out that Bill was friends with French musician Yoann Lemoine, better known as Woodkid. Yoann was composer for Death Stranding 2: On The Beach.
When Bill went to Yoann’s studio, he saw Kojima Productions merchandise everywhere, and that’s where Yoann learned that he was a huge fan of Metal Gear. Of course, he was eager to audition, and the main PHYSINT images that Kojima recently shared were part of a camera test to see if Bill could fit the role. Kojima also checked if he had chemistry with Charlee Fraser.
Kojima also talked about how enthusiastic Bill is for the role, that he already wants to read the script and study the lines that Kojima hasn’t written yet. But as he explained to all the actors, unlike a Hollywood film that can take less than a year to film, PHYSINT will take at least four years.
