Splatoon Raiders appears to be a video game made the old fashioned way, as only Nintendo would make.

As shared on ResetERA by user Neoxon, producer Seita Inoue said this in an interview with Famitsu:
Unlike the main series, which changes the way you play while adjusting the balance and adding content, “Raiders” is developed with the aim of enjoying the completed experience with the content itself.
Therefore, we are not considering updates related to DLC or game balance. However, if a fatal problem is found, we are thinking of responding as necessary.
Inoue seems to only be leaving an exception open because Splatoon Raiders can be played online. Therefore, if modders or hackers try to meddle with the game, they will interfere.
The developers definitely decided this already when they were developing the game. The community itself is still working out the min-max meta, but if there’s one thing that they could change to the balance, they could increase the drop rates for Spirhalite Gems, or at least disclose how to obtain them.
