We may now know the name and scenario for Lies of P’s sequel.

The Phrasemaker has revealed that Lies of P’s publisher, Neowiz, has filed a new trademark for “Wonders of O.”
Lies of P was developed by Round 8 Studio, now rebranded as Nough, and initially released in 2023. DLC Lies of P Overture released last June, and the Switch 2 version came out just last month.
The Phrasemaker noted that the trademark is identical in text to Lies of P’s trademark, but we would argue that this doesn’t really reveal anything. Nonetheless, this trademark is interesting in context of the original game’s ending. Spoilers follow below.
In the ending, Giangio, now revealed as Paracelsus, leaves Krat and hints that he would go look for Dorothy again. The camera then panned to show a lady’s striped socks and ruby red shoes.
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is one of the most adapted pieces of children’s literature, with a seeming interminable wave of revisionist movies in the 2000s. Hopefully Nough can make a more interesting adaptation of Baum’s world than we’ve seen on the silver screen.
