Blizzard has officially announced Diablo V.

They shared this description in Xbox News Wire:
Diablo V is coming in Spring 2029, and it opens somewhere the series has never let us stand: after the loss. Sanctuary has fallen. Diablo has won. The question the game asks is what we become when the world we knew is gone.
This comes alongside a trailer that shows Hell’s denizens taking over the world of Sanctuary. Unfortunately, one could argue that Blizzard has already spoiled too much with this announcement alone.
But then again, Blizzard had been portending doom across Diablo IV’s seasons. Blizzard is celebrating the franchise’s 30 year anniversary with Legacy, the latest Season of Hell, featuring the return of Deckard Cain, and the Prime Evils.
Blizzard also officially announced that Diablo IV: Age of Hatred Collection is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 this September 15. The eShop listing explains that this bundles the base game with the Vessel of Hatred and Lord of Hatred expansions.
