Forza Horizon 6 seems to have a murky future on PS5.

Last week, Tom Warren of The Verge said this on social media:
I’m not expecting to see Forza Horizon 6 on PS5 in 2026
However, in the latest update on the Forza blog, Playground Games said this:
If you’re planning your trip to Discover Japan on PlayStation 5, stay tuned! Forza Horizon 6 will be releasing on PS5 later this year, and you can add the game to your Wishlist on the PlayStation Store to be notified of availability.
That’s a very clear debunking of Warren’s claims, and whoever his source may be. But this also raises new questions.
September is here, and most of the big AAA releases of the year are coming out this month. If Playground Games still isn’t announcing the release date, when will it release? It sounds like it will actually come out close to GTA 6, expected to be a system seller for the PS5.
Is this a play to minimize Forza’s potential success on PlayStation? Or is there a more reasonable explanation, such as Playground just needing more time to finish the port?
