FromSoftware has ended NDAs and let the blood flow for The Duskbloods previews.

At the same time, they have shared an online gameplay guide so that the general public, not just network testers, can understand what the game is all about. But we’ll give you the Simple English explanation here.
The Duskbloods plays out in 30 minute rounds, with four phases. In the second and third phase, the two weakest players are eliminated, and the last players fight for the top spot in the last phase.
Rounds play out in small levels, and the goal is to earn points, called Virtue. You earn Virtue by fighting other players, but FromSoftware has also added over layers of other options on top of that. These include teaming up with other players, fighting bosses, finding pawns to fight for you, etc.
But the most important thing to know is The Duskbloods is like no other FromSoftware game before it. You can’t die in most of the game because everyone is a vampire. You also have quadruple jumps and air dashes.
It’s an experience worth discovering if you’re curious.
