There’s some interesting rumors going around about the world of LEGO games.
Twitter user legottnewsi doesn’t say what the next LEGO game will be, but they have identified what it will not be. Which would be:
- A new LEGO Marvel game
- A new LEGO Batman game
- A new LEGO Harry Potter game
- A LEGO Dune game
They did say that it will be based on a WB Games IP. LEGO’s partner in these single party LEGO Games are Traveller’s Tales, a subsidiary of WB Games.
The last LEGO Marvel game was LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, released all the way back in 2017. Their most recent game is a DC title, Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.
We could make our own guesses on the next LEGO video game. Maybe WB Games is taking risks again, with a LEGO Mortal Kombat or LEGO Looney Tunes game? Whatever the case, we may have to wait some time before we even learn what this next game will be.
