This year Nintendo and the Pokemon company has been celebrating the franchise’s 20-year anniversary. There have been a number of different celebrations and events in order to celebrate the success of the Pokemon franchise, one of which is allowing gamers to receive free mythical Pokemon every month for this entire year.
For the most part, gamers who owned a Nintendo 3DS along with a copy of Pokemon Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, X, or Y, and a way to attend their local GameStop, they would receive a code to catch the in-game mythical Pokemon featured during the particular month.
In the month of February, gamers were presented with a level 100 Mew. However, if you were unable to attend your local GameStop or didn’t own one of the featured Pokemon video games at the time, you will have one more chance to redeem the Pokemon.
Announced through the official Pokemon website, gamers will be able to receive the same level 100 Mew if they sign up towards their free newsletter. All gamers will have to do is signup for the Pokemon Trainer Club newsletter that arrives via email to alert readers of news relating to the world of Pokemon.
As mentioned, the newsletter is completely free and if gamers signup to the newsletter by June 1, 2016, they will receive a free code to redeem the level 100 Mew. However, it’s noted that gamers will have to redeem the code by August 31, 2016.
