Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have shared new details for FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE.

In a new overview trailer, they explain the game’s core mechanic. Using the Camera Obscura, players can frame the ghosts they run into and then purge them by taking photos of them.
Interestingly, the game will get a new Photo Mode for players to take photos the way they do in other games. It’s completely separate from the Camera Obscura.
While the game is launching on March 12, a demo will be available on March 5. Your demo save can be carried over to the main game.
Team Ninja also revealed several pre-order and special edition bonuses. There will be a collaboration with Silent Hill f, but they’ll be announcing the details later.
FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. You can watch the latest trailer below.
