Some fans believe they have identified a character in GTA 6’s 2nd trailer.
As explained by GameRoll on Twitter, John Ortiz may be playing the police officer in the trailer. He credits redditor Significant-Cry4539 for bringing it up.
This cop is specifically the character who says this line:
Us cops, we gotta protect each other.
GameRoll points out that Ortiz has played police before, such as in Bob Odenkirk vehicle Nobody 2. It also makes sense to find actors who fit type, as Stephen Root, playing Brian seems to have played similar characters.
GameRoll argues that Ortiz would be a great pick because he’s already known as a great movie villain. He cites Ortiz playing Arturo Braga in the Fast & Furious movies. You can watch a clip of Ortiz doing his thing as Braga here.
It would be fun if we could guess these actors this much in advance. But it would be even better if Rockstar managed to keep some big celebrity surprises for until the game comes out.
