Two Polish video game websites have confirmed that The Witcher 3 DLC is on the way.

As explained on ResetERA by user EatChildren, IGN Poland and PPE both corroborate the rumor. They both also claim to have known about the DLC years ago, possibly when it started development.
IGN Poland does speculate that this DLC could be set in a new region, possibly Zerrikania. If that’s the case, CD Projekt RED’s franchise will deviate from the books once again.
There’s also an earlier rumor that 3rd party studio Fool’s Theory, who are making The Witcher 1 remake, is making this DLC to connect it to The Witcher 4.
How Much Of These Rumors Should We Believe?
EatChildren also warned to be cautious about these rumors and other claims. Apparently PPE may not be a credible source at all. The other details are not really part of the rumor and are mostly speculation on IGN Poland’s part.
This rumor is so vague that we doubt CD Projekt RED will announce it this year if it is true. But if more sources corroborate these claims, it may become more credible.
