There’s a ‘secret’ fourth game
Of course, Microsoft has consistently announced three games, and spotlight 4 to 5 games in the last few Xbox Developer Directs. So really, the question is what games will they be showing?
What Could Be That Fourth Game?
Woggerman1974 hypothesized on Twitter that based on Jez Corden’s clues, the fourth game could be coming from Double Fine. Double Fine released Keeper last year but they have more unannounced games in the works.
We looked up the other Xbox games slated for 2026 and there are two other obvious candidates. Halo: Campaign Evolved and Gears of War: E-Day will both be huge titles this year and worth giving their own events. But Microsoft could plan bigger presentations for them later, and spotlight one of the big 3rd party games this year, such as Resident Evil Requiem.
So, we don’t really know what will be the Direct’s 4th game, but in case everyone forgot there are these two really obvious games to show off now.
