May 26, 2016 by Stephen Daly

The Season Pass isn’t all bad, though.

Jar Jar Binks is back.

We bring you this grave news from Warner Bros. and Tt Games, who have announced the widely loathed prequel character will be included in one of LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens‘ season pass character packs.

The pass also allows you to play as Samuel L. Jackson’s Mace Windu and others.

Priced at £7.99/$9.99, the season pass includes three extra levels and five character packs, one of which is exclusive to the pass.

Those who pick up the game will be able to purchase the pass on PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. It will not be available on 3DS, Wii U or PlayStation Vita.

Both level packs and extra character bundles will also be available to purchase separately. These levels will include alternative and unseen versions of moments from the movie.

These levels will come in the form of Poe’s Quest of Survival, in which the pilot escapes from the Jakku crash, Escape from Starkiller, which sees you play as Resistance fighters fleeing Starkiller base before it’s destroyed, and First Order Siege of Takodana, which highlights the fight from Kylo Ren’s perspective.

Character packs focus on the prequel trilogy (Anakin, Padme, Darth Maul, Jar Jar), the Clone Wars and Rebels TV series, the Jedi Pack, and the LEGO spin-off The Freemaker Adventures. In all, 50 characters are included in these packs.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens launches on June 28th.
