AirBuccaneers HD Takes to the Skies With a New Trailer

March 14, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

AirBuccaneers HD sets to redefine online multiplayer warfare.

Indie developer LudoCraft has put together a trailer for AirBuccaneers HD, which is easily one of the most original multiplayer titles we've seen in years.

While the concept of flying pirate ships isn't particularly new, it's not one we've seen before in games—especially not one with a multiplayer angle. This steampunk-themed title was originally developed as a mod for Unreal Tournament 2004, and has since become its very own full fledged game.

Like a real ship crew, players will have to cooperate with each other to operate the airship. Players can even perform large-scale boarding actions.

If you're interested in finding out more about AirBuccaneers HD, you can check out the game's official website here.
