Dealabs editor billbil-kun believes he has found what a PlayStation 5 Grand Theft Auto 6 bundle would look like.

What Billbil-kun Actually Found
According to billbil-kun, there are upcoming EA Sports FC 26 bundles with PlayStation 5. He found these bundles with these prices:
- PlayStation 5 Pro with EA Sports FC 26 – €799.99 / £699.99
- PlayStation 5 Standard with EA Sports FC 26 – €549.99 / £479.99
- PlayStation 5 Digital with EA Sports FC 26 – €499.99 / £429.99
A Note About European Vs. US PlayStation 5 Prices
Please note that Liberation Day tariffs and other factors mean that US prices could be considerably different. We won’t be converting these prices to US dollars here.
If you want to try that, you should compare it with prices for existing PlayStation 5 bundles in the US and Europe. And even then, you should note that those prices could change.
We certainly would not want to see a wide gap in PlayStation 5 game and console prices between countries. But we need to acknowledge that this is where the industry is.
Wait, So What’s The Big Deal Here?
As billbil-kun explained, the speculation going around is that Rockstar and Sony already have a marketing deal. This deal supposedly gives them priority over Microsoft to market the game on Xbox.
And part of the deal is supposed to include a PlayStation 5 Pro bundle. That’s noteworthy because Sony has not yet introduced a PlayStation 5 Pro bundle to retail.
If billbil-kun’s rumors are correct, the first PlayStation 5 Pro bundle is already on the way. These bundles will be released on October 22.
Can Grand Theft Auto 6 Really Sell The PlayStation 5 Pro?
PlayStation 5 Pro is profitable in its own terms. Sales have gone down for the SKU year-on-year, and it is not selling at the same pace as the PlayStation 4 Pro.
No one is saying the PlayStation 5 Pro is failing in the market but there is room for improvement.
This rumor suggests that Grand Theft Auto 6 will not be a special case. There will be a ton of other PlayStation 5 Pro bundles coming before Rockstar’s game even releases.
But, if the speculation is correct, Grand Theft Auto 6 is such a huge release that it could raise sales of the PlayStation 5 Pro. Some gamers could upgrade from a base PlayStation 5 or even a PlayStation 4 for that game.
But the PlayStation 5 Pro has its own issues that may turn gamers off. If PSSR is still not a guaranteed improvement to all games coming to the upgraded console, it won’t do.
We do think Sony will do fine if only their base PlayStation 5 consoles get bundled with the game. But we’ll see if this speculation turns out to be true or not after all.
