
Borderlands fans are all hopeful the next installment delivers in a big way. There’s a hope that this game will turn things around for fans, as the previous installment didn’t quite live up to some players’ expectations. While we will soon enough find out if the developers at Gearbox Software were able to cook, there’s a reason to watch some Borderlands 4 trailers again.
With Borderlands 4 coming our way at the end of this week, the marketing team is making one final push to get this game on the minds of players. Today, we’re learning that the developers are offering us another opportunity to secure a previous Twitch drop for the title. If you missed out on the previous ECHO-4 Drone Skin, here’s another chance to grab one.
Borderlands 4 ECHO-4 Twitch Drop

As mentioned, there was already an ECHO-4 Twitch drop earlier this year. Players could tune into Twitch and grab a purple skin of ECHO-4. That would give you a little extra flair when you explore the world. Today, we’re finding out, thanks to the Borderlands X account, that fans can tune into the Borderlands Twitch channel at 9 AM PT and 5 PM PT.
By watching 30 minutes of footage, you’ll get the Borderlands 4 ECHO-4 Twitch drop. That’s at least another chance to grab this skin if you missed it earlier. For those unfamiliar with this character, it is a drone that follows you around, guiding you to various objectives, upgrading your ammo, and even changing your Vault Hunter’s cosmetic appearance.
Again, we don’t have long before Borderlands 4 launches into the marketplace. That said, there is a report that we should see reviews go live on September 10. But if you haven’t already done so, you can still preorder a copy of the game to secure some bonuses.
As a reminder, we should see Borderlands 4 release on September 12, 2025. When it does, you’ll find it available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S platforms. Meanwhile, those of you on Nintendo Switch 2 should see the game on October 3, 2025.
