The Nintendo Switch 2 has been available for a couple of months now, and hopefully, you have secured a unit. Just like with any new major console release, finding a unit in the wild hasn’t been easy. However, if you managed to get a console, then you might be keen to learn more about what’s coming next. We have a few games to get excited about, including Kirby Air Riders. It looks like tomorrow we’ll have a special Nintendo Direct Kirby Air Riders presentation to sit in on.
The Nintendo Switch 2 launched with Mario Kart World, and not long after, we received the next major first-party release, Donkey Kong Bananza. But another game you might be eager to pick up is a new Kirby title. We already learned about Kirby Air Riders during a Nintendo Direct presentation earlier this year.
During that presentation, it was unveiled that the creator of the Kirby series, Masahiro Sakurai, was directing this game with a team at Bandai Namco Studios. It’s also set up to be a sequel to the 2003 Nintendo GameCube release, Kirby Air Ride.
Kirby Air Riders Nintendo Direct Presentation Announced
Taking to X, Nintendo of America confirmed that Kirby Air Riders will have a special Nintendo Direct tomorrow with Masahiro Sakurai. Not too many details were unveiled, unfortunately, but that’s to be expected. All we know is that the presentation is said to take place at 9 AM ET and last about 45 minutes. This stream will provide viewers with an in-depth look at the upcoming game.
You can view the presentation when it happens live right on the official YouTube channel here. Meanwhile, it was also unveiled that those of you who want to learn a little more about the game will want to follow the KirbyAirRiders X account. That will be the official channel for account updates on the game.
Currently, we don’t have a release date for Kirby Air Riders. All we know is that the developers are shooting for a release this year. Perhaps during tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct presentation, we’ll get an official release date.
