Treyarch has released a video showcasing new and exciting elements coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 in their final update – Reckoning which will release on the 7th of August.
As spotted by the folks over at Video Games Chronicle, Treyarch shared a video showcasing parts of its new map coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 as part of their August update. In addition to showcasing parts of the environment, the video also highlights some of the work that went into designing and planning some of the new features.
Reckoning boasts a variety of new features such as:
• A renewed emphasis on vertical gameplay with occasional gravity changes caused by the particle accelerator. When regular gravity is in play parachutes also make an appearance.
• A new foe – The Uber Klaus. A two phase elite foe that switches forms during the fight.
• In addition to field upgrades and perk upgrades players will now be able to upgrade a trap. The trap attaches to walls and lays waste to zombies from above. Players will be able to upgrade the trap and change how it wages war on incoming lumbering cretins.
• Finally a new organic pistol will be added to the lineup, this weapon will evolve as players use it with two possible upgrades that deal damage in different ways. This weapon will lend a new element to those evenings laying waste to hordes of zombies.
