Toronto-based Finish Line Games has announced Maize, a puzzle adventure title that takes inspiration from Monty Python and the X-files’ funnier episodes.
The game is said to be “an absurdist, first-person adventure with a cornucopia of highbrow puzzles to solve, talking oddities to meet, and mysteries to be harvested, coming later this fall to PC.”
Players will explore a ruined farm to discover clues to the past, unearth the secrets of an underground research facility, and “make a few…colorful friends along the way, including a grumpy Russian knock-off of the most technologically advanced toy ever created: Teddy Ruxpin.”
Maize is coming to PC this autumn.
