2KGames has just announced that Irrational Games' latest foray, Bioshock Infinite, is slated for an October 16 release this year. International gamers will be able to play the game on October 19.
The game will take place aboard the flying city of Columbia. You play the role of an ex-Pinkerton agent who takes on the task to rescue an individual known as Elizabeth amidst a revolution.
Bioshock Infinite will be out for the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. A WiiU version is rumored, but not confirmed.
