It’s mind-blowing to me that we are already just weeks out from wrapping up 2024. This year had some big hits released into the marketplace, but our attention is now focused on what is coming our way in the upcoming year. We already know there are more than a few games that have fans’ attention. But to help remind you of some of the games that will be featured on the PlayStation 5, Sony just dropped a new trailer.
A new trailer just under two minutes in length was uploaded today on the official PlayStation YouTube channel. Sony hopes that the trailer features a few games that might pique your interest in the PlayStation 5 platform. It’s a collage of games, as well, so you will see brand-new IPs and sequels here.
Some of the games featured in this trailer include Ghost of Yotei, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Monster Hunter Wilds, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Little Nightmares 3, Borderlands 4, Where Winds Meet, Baby Steps, and The Midnight Walk.
That’s just a small highlight of the trailer, and not all of the games featured are slated to come to the PlayStation 5 platform within 2025. Of course, it’s also a collection of games that might not be directly tied to the PS5 as a console exclusive.
But there might be even more games we could have seen featured in this trailer. If you don’t recall, we have a big game event called The Game Awards this week. It’s an annual ceremony that not only celebrates the accomplishments of developers’ past works released this year but also an event that showcases new game announcements. We expect more new title reveals that could be coming to the PlayStation 5 console. However, we will have to wait for the event to kick off and see what world premieres are in store for us this December 12, 2024. In the meantime, you can view the new PS5-focused trailer in the embedded video below.
