We’re fresh into December, and with it comes the holiday season. But beyond that, the new month typically brings several additions to various media subscription services. For instance, Xbox Game Pass subscribers are typically given a new collection of games each month in two batches, but it might just be one wave for this month as we head into the holidays. Today, the folks at Xbox Wire decided to pull back the veil and reveal the set of games coming to the subscription service this month.
Those who subscribe to Xbox Game Pass know that all first-party games from Microsoft will be added to Xbox Game Pass. So we already know Indiana Jones and the Great Circle would be a part of the first wave of titles announced. However, we also have nine other games to be added to the mix. These new game additions might persuade you otherwise if you haven’t subscribed to Xbox Game Pass.
Xbox Game Pass December 2024 Wave 1 Game Additions
- Forza Motorsport (Xbox Series X|S) – December 4
- Hauntii (Console) – December 4
- Humanity (Console) – December 4
- EA Sports WRC (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) EA Play – December 5
- Overthrown (Game Preview) (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – December 5

Xbox Game Pass Core is also receiving some additions this month. On December 4, this base-tier collection will see three new games added. The games added to this tier include Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, DayZ, and Goat Simulator. Hopefully, there is something added to the mix here for you. However, it seems from the post on Xbox Wire that this might be the last update for Xbox Game Pass until January 2025.
