Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Dev Teases DLC Details

December 2, 2024 by Dennis Patrick

Here’s what we know so far about The Order of Giants.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is nearly here. If you’ve followed this game since its announcement, you’re probably finally itching to dive into this grand new adventure. However, just know that when you finally get that opportunity and reach the credits, there’s more content coming your way. We know DLC is already in the works called The Order of Giants, and one dev was opening up just a tiny bit about what this DLC will entail.

The famed archeologist Indiana Jones is always up for a mystery. We’ve watched this iconic fedora-wearing adventurer go through countless uphill battles. Between fighting to keep nazis away from power to supernatural oddities, there’s never telling just what is waiting around the corner for our hero. Like with this upcoming game, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, we don’t know what’s waiting for us after the credits roll.

A DLC called The Order of Giants is set to come out afterward, and while the details are not quite available yet, Gamerant managed to speak with the lead narrative designer, Tommy Tordsson Björk. During the conversation, a small tidbit of information was released about the DLC. Now, don’t get too excited; it’s just enough to give players a reminder to keep a close eye on certain parts of the base game.

The only thing I can say there is that we will explore some of the myths that you learn about in the Vatican and find out more about the hidden history of Rome. It’s going to be an exciting adventure worthy of Indy! – Tommy Tordsson Björk

It was noted to Gamerant that The Order of Giants DLC is based on some of the myths you learn about when you’re in the Vatican. That will also open up a little more hidden history of Rome. But beyond that, we’ll have to wait to learn more about this next chapter of Indiana Jones until after the base game releases.

Earlier today, we released our official launch trailer for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which you can view below. Furthermore, details about the download size have surfaced for the game, in case you’re looking to make room now ahead of the title’s release.

As it stands, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set to launch on December 9, 2024. You’ll find the game available on Xbox Series X, PC, and Xbox Game Pass when it is released. Meanwhile, we know that we’ll see a release on the PlayStation 5 platform sometime next year.
