Pokemon is always a heavy-hitting franchise, but it seems like it recently had a new resurgence. With the launch of Pokemon TCG Pocket, more players are returning to the early days of Pokemon. This is a card battling game, and if you have been playing it, you might be keen to know there is a second battle event now.
With Pokemon TCG Pocket, players might recall the battle event that first came out with the game. It was an event where players could open a special promo pack and earn a Lapras EX card. Now thanks to VGC we know that there is another event underway. However, an EX card is not the case here, as the card players will be after a special full-art Venusaur. That’s the goal as long as you can finish the entire event.
The event plays out similarly to the other solo card battles. Players will have a series of battles to win, each earning them some prizes along the way. However, as you progress through the event, the battles will increase in difficulty. Losing a fight will cost you some energy to play in this event. Don’t worry, though, as the energy does eventually recharge.
This special Venusaur event is available to participate in right now and will be available until December 12, 2024. That should give you plenty of time to finish the event and earn your promo pack, even if you lose some energy. Beyond that, we’ll have to wait and see the next event.
For those who have to buy this game, it’s free to enjoy right now. Players can find the game on both official storefronts for iPhone and Android. This is also not a game we’ll likely see lose support anytime soon, as it seems to be a real winner.
