Gather your resources and count your bullets. These are our most anticipated survival horror games coming out in 2025.
#4 Blight Survival

When you think of horror titles, you don’t picture them happening in medieval times unless it’s some kind of horror RPG. But in Blight Survival, you’re going to put your knight’s armor to the test as you attempt to save multiple kingdoms from the wrath of the undead.
In the game, two nations are at war, and a “blight” has riddled the dead in “No Man’s Land” and caused heinous monsters to rise up. You and your friends can team up to enter the no man’s land and take out the blight-filled monsters.
The challenge will be difficult, but no one said being a knight was easy.
#3 Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days

Most people would agree that escaping the main “hub,” where all the zombies are, is the best option during a zombie apocalypse. However, in Walton City, escape is anything but easy. The undead are everywhere, and any hopes of survival lie within a “safe zone” that is outside the city itself.
You are someone tasked with escorting people to safety. However, it’s not as simple as just killing the undead that you find. You’ll need to find and improve shelters to let the people rest and hide in while you clear the path for them.
Fight when you can, sneak when you’re allowed, and do what is needed to make it out alive.
#2 Dying Light: The Beast

Kyle Crane is back, but he’s not the person you once thought he was. After the events of the first game, Kyle was taken and experimented on by various groups, and those experiments lasted for a decade. However, he was able to get out, and now he’s bent on revenge.
His quest takes him to Castor Woods, where people are trying to make a life for themselves despite all the dangers that lie around them. Kyle makes it his mission to get rid of these threats so that they have a chance at living.
The twist is that Kyle has new abilities to help him fight back, and you’ll definitely want to “unleash the beast.”
#1 Asket

We’ve all heard of cities going from “heavily populated” to deserted, but in Asket, you’ll see a different side to that. Set in a “post-Soviet World,” you’ll be a loner who attempts to figure out the truth behind a city that used to be thriving due to a factor but now features people turning into monsters.
You’ll start small, with a knife being your only weapon. Then, as you work your way through the city, you’ll upgrade your weapons to fight off the threats within and, hopefully, learn the truth about this place.
What could have caused it to turn into this horrific place? Search for answers and find out!
