Starfield fans will soon be getting the first DLC expansion for the game. We know Starfield: Shattered Space is slated to launch this month from the Bethesda team. However, if you are already itching to dive into the game expansion, then check out some fresh new content right now. Bethesda has just released a new deep dive into the expansion, giving you a better look at what to expect.
This new deep dive just clarifies what we essentially knew about the expansion. But the footage does provide some new looks at House Va’ruun. For those who have been left out of the loop, Starfield: Shattered Space is an expansion that focuses on House Va’ruun, a faction we knew about in the base game, but we were left with more questions than answers.
We know that this faction recently conducted an experiment that went incredibly wrong and left a rip in space. That prompted new anomalies to deal with and a very fractured planet. This entire Shattered Space DLC is centered around this planet, where players arrive just weeks after the catastrophic event. The area is in shambles, people are still seeking loved ones, and now smaller factions of the planet are striving to take control.
Players will have to pick up the pieces and explore more about the history and factions of House Va’ruun on September 30, 2024. When the expansion releases, you’ll find it available for both the PC and Xbox Series X/S platforms. In the meantime, you can view the Starfield: Shattered Space deep dive video embedded below. Otherwise, those of you who have yet to play the base game can do so now on the same platforms as mentioned. However, if you have access to Xbox Game Pass, you’ll find Starfield readily available to play before you dive into the upcoming expansion DLC.
